PARCHMENT, Mich. — The Parchment Community Library soared into their 2024 Summer Reading program Saturday.
Three sizeable hot air balloons rose above Kindleberger Park on Saturday to keep with the library’s summer reading slogan for this year, “Adventure Begins at your Library.”
The event also offered the opportunity to sign up for the library’s reading program, and learn about the prizes that it offers.
Reading challenges are broken down into four categories and corresponding prizes:
